I started out with another frustrating day, not getting much done. I finished running the serial interface to the second GPS. This took a lot of time, for almost invisible results.
From there, I started hooking up the bench power to the EFIS section. I first had to make a "field of grounds" from a piece of buss bar and FastOn tabs. Then I made hookup wires to power the EFIS items.
Finally, I was able to power up the EFIS. This was a major breakthrough. I was able to see the EFIS come alive, albeit with multiple errors.
There were two types of errors: missing hardware (the radios aren't installed yet - baby steps) and configuration errors. I hadn't setup the EFIS yet. More tomorrorow
