This was a fun day. I finally committed the panel design.
The concept is shown below. It really is quite clean and simple. I have a little room for steam gauges if I ever feel that I need them. The main panel has only one LED and one switch (Auto Pilot Input Select)
I still need to layout the sub-panels, but they are really quite simple.
Once I get a proof set back from the cutting house, I will send off the panel. I should have it back in about 2 weeks. Meanwhile, I will use the scrap panel to start the wiring.
This was a fun little project. It got me started with Alibre 3D CAD. I am starting to get the hang of 3D modeling.
