Brief Description: Drilling, Dimpling, Deburring Right Elevator
Clecoed up the stiffeners and back-drilled. Then deburred and dimpled stiffeners and the skin. Patty helped with the dimpling, but was less skilled than Charles. This is definitely a two person job.
I Made up the counter-weight assembly and the outside rib. Almost screwed up on orientation, but two mistakes cancelled out. (I finally got lucky on a mistake). Deburred and dimpled. I had a little trouble dimpling the rear holes for the ouside rib - even the pop-rivet dimpler couldn't get in there. I finally used those die and squeezed with pliers to get adequate dimpling.
Mounted hinge and horn asemblies, drilled.
All parts ready for priming except 713 assembly needs additional deburring. Should be ready to rivet in the new year.
