Brief Description: Inspection, Rework and close out
Tom had several rivets he wanted replaced as well as a tiny scratch buffed out. Removed and replaced rivets, sanded and reprimed the spar
Began closing out the rear spar. While I could have used AD5 rivets to close out the center ribs, I used the supplied pop-rivets.
Tom's method of riveting worked pretty well. The two inside ribs were difficult to rivet. One rivet each side had to be drilled out to #5. These were not through the spar area. Vans #4 rivets seemed very hard to drive, while the #5 were new and set very easily.
