Tom Porta, an EAA Tech Counselor, and flight instructor buddy, came up from Reno for an interim inspection.
I has written out a dozen questions Sunday, ranging from how to assemble and support hoses to where to put the aux battery.
He resolved a lot of concerns for me. The work looked good to him. So, the most basic concern was dealt with swiftly. Concerns like fuel line separation from exhausts were OK as is. As usual, I was over thinking, over engineering some items like the number of supports needed for hoses.
Tom did make one suggestion for improvement: adding a heat shield to the throttle control cable where is travels over the exhaust stack.
I really appreciate another set of eyes and the experience that goes with them.
