I started final assembly of the engine control cables.
Installed the three eyeball control cable seals throught he firewall.
Dry-fit the control cables to the throttle quadrant. Found that finishing the connections would be quite difficult if done with the cables secured to teh engine: it is better to start at the quadrant and work forward.
Removed the cables and quadrant from the airplane. Hooked up the clevis connectors and dry fit pins. I have not been able to find the interference discussed in the plans which required shortinging the inner clevis pin.
Decided to orde a longer throttle cable. While the 60" cable fits, it is a stretch requiring tight bends. Ordered a 67" which wil lbe plenty long and will allow more gentle bends.
This shoudl allow enough service loop to adjust the clevis pins once the engine-side hookup is complete to match up lever movement.
