I worked too long. Just before leaving, I decided to rivet the left front baffle assembly.
While driving the first rivet, I slipped off the head and created a gouge, mysteriously called a Smilie or Happy Face. I had worked for hours getting this seemingly simple part to fit (remember, this is a scratch design, no plans for this part of the baffle system).
I wasn't smiling. I considered moving on - it will never be noticed.. But I couldn't do that. The next day, I pulled the rivet and quickly made a new part. Overall, I think it took about 40 minutes which was well worth the time.
I drove the rivets more carefully, using less air for a more controllable rivet gun. Simple....
