Brief Description:  Left Inlet Baffle

I fitted the left inlet bracket today. The original part was made with a bend in the middle which prevented mounting of the oil filter. It also did not bend down enough to clear the cowling intake. Charles and Jeff got a little carried away and didn't think through the snorkel assembly and air filter.

I fitted the lower cowling and got the angle that allows for a little engine droop in the future. I made a couple of brakets to mount the lower baffle to the crankcase. (Right photo). I allso joined the front baffle to the front left baffle.

These will remain clecoed for a while. I still have to rough trim the forward baffles to the cowling. It looks like over an inch of trimming will be required.

Next steps:
- Set the right front baffle
- Join front baffles to the the baffle behind the spinner. Will need to trim bottom angles
- Trim height of the forward baffles
- Final trim for 1/2" clearance
- Start mounting accessories like spark plug wires.
