I spent the morning trimming the baffles to allow the cowling to fit.
This was a pain as Charles had prematurely riveted the baffles making trimming difficult.
I had to remove about 5/8" of material just to get the cowling to clear. Not wanting to over-do it, i took a little at a time, allowing the top cowl to slowly seat. Later I remembered I could be more agressive as the baffles are to be 5/8" away from the cowl.
I was able to get the parts trimmed down for a good cowling fit. I have about 1/4 to 1/2" clearance. Once I complete all baffles, i will use paperclips to set the final trim lines.
