Brief Description:  Mounting Strobe Controller

We tried a lot of places for the strobe controller. Nothing seemed to work. Charles suggested on the floor abeam of the bell crank. That wouldn't work, but the side wall was a great place.

I built a couple of angle brackets with platenuts to hold the electronics. Riveting was a bit of a problem - I ended up using pop-rivets. This assembly doesn't weigh much, so this should be more than adequate. A nice side benefit is we are moving the CG back ever so slightly, making the firewall battery mount look better all the time.

The position of the strobe controller interfered with the O2 tank. (It is getting busy back here!). I decided to flip over the O2 bottle. This actually was a great move. I can now run the O2 lines down the right side of the cockpit. The left was getting pretty busy with the flap motor. This will allow the O2 lines to be routed separately, not in a bundle as I had planned. This will eliminate any risk of chaffing.
