Charles left the gap seals ready to rivet. I oiled the pop rivet gun allowing it to grip a little better. I removed one errant rivet from yesterday then continued riveting the flap seal/support. On the left wing, I reached through the lightening holes to buck one bay of rivets instead of using pop-rivets. It was awkward on the right side, so I just used pop rivets there.
The aileron gap seal lent itself to using the pneumatic squeezer. I set up the dimpling tool and made sort work of dimpling the wing skin and the gap seal. I then switched to flat dies to squeeze the rivets. I tried to use both the pneumatic and hand squeezer for the bottom rivets, but neither would fit so I ended up bucking them. The right gap seal still can't be riveted - waiting for AN470--5-12 rivets to repair the aileron hinge.
As a side note, the ailerons were removed yet again to allow riveting. They go back on tomorrow for alignment, then off again to rivet the final skins in place. I am getting pretty good at setting up the spacers and washers.
