Brief Description: Debugging ADSB, More Configuration
I struggled much of the day on the NavWorx system. Bill Moffet is great. I finally sent off an email with my system status - the software didn't seem to match the documentatoin.
Bill sent back an updater to install new software. This tool is much more user-friendly. When I ran it, the Garmin started displaying traffic immediately. But I still had problems with the GRT.
Finally, I pulled out EFIS2 to scope the signal. It looked very funky. I went down a couple deadends. I finally walked the signal back to find that one of the two leads from the ADS-B was tied to an output. This overpowered the Navworx driver. I remember putting in that pin - I guess I can't count.
I did have smore more straight-forward progress. I installed the SL30 and the GTX327 with little difficulty.
So, I have all major avionics working.
