In my layout, I have the SL30 above the GNS430. I like the symetry. And I like the feature of the GRT to transfer the frequencies. I am not sure if I will use that or not, but I have the SL30 on the top of the stack. The mounting holes are dead on (CNC). Com1 should be the top radio.
I beleive I can make the SL30 Nav 1 pretty simply in setting up the GRT. The only problem is the audio panel. So, I decided the cleanest fix was to swap com1/com2 and nav1/nav2 connectors in the audio panel.
