Brief Description: Rebuild Avionics Mounting Panel

I rebuilt the avionics mounting bulkhead to incorporate the new CNC cut panel. The first step was to drill out all of the old rivets. I dreaded this, but it went quite quickly. Next was the usual match drilling, deburring and countersinking. Rivetting went pretty quickly. I did have to drill out about 10 rivets to get a smooth fit. The notches for the longerons had to be opened up from about 0.110 to 0.140" The result was a very, very tight, precise fit. I finsihed by ScotchBriting and priming the back side. I need to do the same thing to the main panel, then send them all out for powder coating.
