I contemplated abandoning the removable center panel concept and just using point to point wiring for the panel.
I tried to locate the various big parts like the ADS-B, AHRS, and fan. It is doable but would be hard to maintain.
The clencher came later in the day. I was helping with an owner assisted annual on a T210. I was working under the instrument panel. Maintenance is nearly impossible. At best, it is expensive. I did learn that I may be over-engineering. The T210 is less organized and less rigid that I have been planning.
