I spend the day undoing the old wiring system for the right sub-panel.
I wired the master contactor. I decided that the avionics quarter panel area is pretty tight. I am moved some switches down to the sub-panel: Master, Alternator. That leaves four on the Avionics Right Sub-Panel: Starter, Boost and the two ignition lines.
From there, I fished through new #20 wires for the switch sub panel. I was able to get the VPX end terminated. Tomorrow, I terminate the swtiches at the sub-planel and power up the unit.
I am seeing a lot of weight come out. Replacing the Switch Breakers with simple switches is saving weight. The wiring is smaller and neater.
I did have yet another setback. It looks like I need to use #6 wire to the VPX. So I have to pull out the wire I did last week. That can wait - but it is now on the to-do list
