Clecoed all parts, riveted stiffeners. One stiffener was missing, so I made one from scrap.
I also found that my layout of E-616 did not provide clearance for the nutplate doubler. I had positioned the servo too far back. I decided that it needed to be replaced. I breifly considered making a part from scratch (I have plenty of suitable scrap material), but decided that the tight inner radius would be hard to form. This piece is not holding me up, so I ordered a $4 replacement from Vans. Interestingly, I was unsure of the placement when I did the original layout - Vans doesnt give much guidance in mounting the trim servo. This is another case of needing to think things a little further ahead before removing aluminum. No biggie, but I need to remember this before modifying big assemblies, like the fuselage. It might cost more than $4 to fix.
Bent trailing edge. Used dowel as a forming block to round over the trailing edge and eliminate spring-back.
Installed spar/rib assembly and clecoed a few spots.
