Brief Description: Elevator Counter Balance Arms & Spars
Finished deburring the holes in the right counter balance arm assembly. Also deburred the edges and scuffed the parts. Started and completed the whole process again on the left counter balance assembly. Beveled the aft and inboard edges of the counter balance skin as called out in the plans. I used my micrometer to measure the beveled edges... this worked very well. I left the beveled edges about .017. Still need to dimple both counter balance assemblies. Deburred the edges of both Elevator spars, end ribs and the E-910 reinforcement plates. Clecoed the E-910 plates to the spars and they are now ready to be match-drilled to #30.
