Brief Description:  Rudder Aft Rib Rivets & Trailing Edge Work

Finished riveting the top and bottom aft rib rivets. I used the edge of my back-rivet plate to buck the rivets in the narrow end of the ribs. This approach allowed me to use solid rivets in all but the two most aft holes in each rib. I then drilled out the last two holes to 7/64 and use the MK-319-BS blind rivets. They are easy to install and I plan to fill the center hole with filler before priming which will keep moisture and dirt out, as well as make them look nice cosmetically. Then I cleaned the trailing edge areas with lacquer thinner and applied the fuel tank sealant. Installed the clecoes using the pre-drilled aluminum channel to keep the edge straight. Cleaned all the excess glue from the skins and then made sure the edge was as straight as possible while it cures for a couple of days.
