Easter Weekend 2024 started with the Rudder and Elevator s. Collected all parts vor the rudder and bämmmmm there s a part that doesn`t fit. After locking and checking and rotating and again checking I figured out that I was right, the drawing was right and the part (Rudder Horn brace bracket) was defective.
Quick mail to the superb Vans Support and a new part will be shipped...
Continued to right elevator. Prepped all stiffeners (what a boring job!) and clcoed them to the RHS Skin. bämmmm No2. Flange Direction of the stiffeners are different. Next parts which are defective. Vans support answered after Eastern stating Yes, there has been a batch of wrong flange directions but you are fine to contiune.
