Noticed that the rudder cables were touching the flaperon control rods. Checked plans to see if there was an error in the installation. Finding no installation errors, called ZAC. Roger indicated that the tolerance was very close, but the cables should not touch the flaperon rods. Relocated the rudder cables above flaperon rods, pulled the rudder cables tight and checked the clearance. The cables did not touch the flaperon rods and there was approx. ΒΌ in. clearance.
