Worked on fitting the rest of the baggage compartment. Had to file several corners to get all of the parts to fit properly. It seems very difficult to get all of the parts to fit. There are so many parts and angles in such a small space, that it required any number of assembles and reassemblies. Eventually, it all came together and seems to fit well.
In the process, I messed up one of the gussets that support the torque tube bearing channel and had to make a new one. Completed that and clecoed the gussets in place.
Had a problem with the flaperon control upright. The construction manual shows three holes from the baggage uprights to the flaperon control uprights. The plans show only to hole on each side. The baggage uprights have three holes. Talked to Roger at ZAC and pointed out the error. In this case, three holes per side is correct.
