Started fitting the top window and windshield. The top window had to be trimmed considerable. It is not dimensioned correctly in the plans. Taking measurement of the top if the cabin cage is the only to do it.
Talked to Roger at ZAC about the top window trim P/N 75F-17-3 as it was not included in the kit. Roger indicated that it wasn’t necessary and that a washer would do as well. I suggested a piece of “L” angle with one of the flanges trimmed to fit the windshield and cut to length. That too was OK.
I also added a lay off cork on top of the cabin cage to help seal the top window.
