I had originally planed to put the remote compass for the D-100 in the top of the fuselage, just behind the baggage area. Discovered that there is virtually no way to get to that area to make that installation without major disassembly. That left the wing area as the prime location. I cut a 7 X 9 in. hole in the bottom of the left wing inside of the rear of rib #2
