F and the tolerance between the inserts and hole in the heads were .002 - .003. It took considerable force to install the inserts. Found several chips of alum. after the installation in two heads. This may become a problem. Called Jabiru, they indicated that they heat the heads only to 200 deg. F and used a rivet gun to push in inserts.
