Brief Description: Glare Shield Riveting And Inst Panel Conversion
Final riveted the glare shield in place.
Began modifying/converting the instrument panel components to be fully removeable in the event the fuel tank ever needs removed for service or replacement.
Attached nutplates that have had one rivet wing removed to the instrument panel to glare shield attachment tabs to allow the top of the instrument panel to attach to the glare shield with AN526C-632R6 machine screws rather than rivets. These will be replaced with black oxide screws later.
Converted SNB-F07-06L/R brackets to attach with four (4) AN525-10R10 washer-head machine screws and AN365-1032A stop nuts through the fuselage vertical support.
Final riveting the glare shield into place.
Attaching modified single-rivet nutplates to the instrument panel upper mounting tabs.
AN525-10R10 washer-head machine screws now hold SNB-F07-06L/R to the vertical support.
