Brief Description:  Attached Lower Firewall Cowling Hinge

Created SNB-P13-08 hinge for lower firewall front side edge for the cowling attachment.

In order to keep the 3/32" space set across the bottom of the hinge loops relative to the bottom skin, I had to drill the very center hinge hole a little closer to the edge of the hinge, since the existing center hole from the quick build was already placed.

Positioned the center hole in the hinge to give the specified 3/32" space to the extended bottom line of the lower skin, then worked outward from the center, maintaining the 3/32" gap as I went.

To check the gap, I used a straight tool bar to extend the bottom skin line, and taped a 3/32" drill bit on it to use as a feeler/gap gauge.

Drilled all pilot holes from the #40 holed in the hinge and clecoed hinge across the bottom of the fuselage.

Updrilled to #30 and deburred all holes. Final rivetted all 35 holes in the hinge.

This completed everything on page SNB-F11 that can be completed until the bottom skin is attached as the last step. Coded this page green to indicate it's done until the final bottom skin attachment.
