Brief Description: Final Windshield Assembly And Fit For Mounting

Trimmed and deburred fuel filler cover. Cut back the protective plastic covering on the windshield to clear the windshield skirt, but still provide protection for the lexan. Deburred Lexan holes. Re-assembled windshield assembly to be ready for final mounting. Installed the quarter-turn twist latch for the fuel cover. Deburred all windshield holes at fuselage skin and longerons. Re-clecoed windshield assembly in place to verify final fit and ready for final rivetting.

Cutting back protective plastic off Lexan to leave maximum protection for the Lexan.

Installing the quarter-turn latch for the fuel filler door.

Windshield assembly fitting complete, ready for installation.
