Brief Description: Re-installed Nosewheel Strut With Fairing Installe
Notched the nosewheel fairing at the top end per plans to allow proper fit, and prevent any sliding up and down on the strut.
Closed and pinned the fairing onto the strut. Final fit was good, and very secure. Alligned the fairing with the fork/wheel for proper alignment with the slipstream when in flight.
Re-installed the fork and nosewheel without the pant at this time. Will revisit the pant installation after talking to Sonex Tech Support.
Measured the side-to-side travel or "swing" of the fairing trailing edge from full left to full right nodewheel deflection to be 1.59". Cowling strut slot as currently cut is approximately 1.60" to 1.65".
Ready to re-install the lower cowling and perform the final edge trimming and dressing of the strut slot in the bottom of the cowling. Need to clean up the slot's right angle to the back edge of the lower cowling along its full length, and ensure the slot is centered on the strut.

Fairing was notched at the upper end, and closed and pinned . Very secure fit.
