Brief Description: Completed Lower Cowl Fitting And Clecoed Hinges
Completed the fitting/positioning of the lower cowling piano hinge pieces. Performed fitting/locating the hinges by pinning the mating hinge piece to the firewall hinge, then positioning the trimmed cowling in place and using the free floating cowling hinge as a drill guide for about three holes to cleco the cowling in place on each side and the bottom edges. Once this position was locked in and confirmed, the remaing hinge mounting was routine drilling and mounting with clecos.
