Brief Description: Trimming Engine Cooling Fins For Clearance
As the rear edge of the cowling was trimmed, the bottom of the cowling had a net upward movement. A contact point developed at the cooling fins of the right forwardmost cylinder.
The corner of the three fins were trimmed off and then deburred. This eliminated the cooling fin obstruction.
