Brief Description: Cowling Mods To Eliminate Contact Points
I began researching and experimenting with creating simple blisters to go over the contact points to remove physical contact with the cowling. I had to learn about fiberglass in general, and tried to create a simple blister over non-hardening modelling clay with common polyester resin and fiberglass mat.
I then protected the cowling gelcoat with plastic cling film, then formed modelling clay over one of the contact point areas. Now ready to form the polyester resin and fiberglass mat blister on the cowling.
