Determined the position for where the nosewheel strut slot will will fall on the lower front edge of the fuselage bottom. Marked this on the blue tape as measured from the fuselage centerline. Transferred these markings to the lower cowling for cutting the slot.
Measured the distance forward on the cowling for cutting the slot, and completed the slot layout. Cut the slot in the cowling for the nosewheel strut.
Traced the outer perimeter of the prop hub opening so it could be trimmed to proper size.
