Brief Description: Fabricate And Install GPS Antenna Doubler Plate

Designed CNC toolpaths for GPS antenna doubler plate from 0.032" 6061 T6 sheet stock. Cut doubler plate on CNC. Rolled doubler plate over oil capture can to place a slight curvature in the plate to match that of the skin where mounting the plate. Fit doubler plate to existing GPS antenna holes to hold the plate while preliminary #40 holes were drilled. Updrilled all rivet holes to #30 final size. Deburred all rivet holes and final clecoed. Final rivetted the GPS antenna doubler plate into position and secured the antenna mount. Final requirement is to seal contact edges with clear 100% silicon rubber.

Rolled doubler over curved surface to place a slight curvature in doubler to match skin curvature.

Doupler plate holes matched and position secured to drill #40 preliminary mounting holes.

Final rivetting of th doubler plate under the GPS antenna.
