Brief Description: Mounted Both Ram Air Ducts On Cylinders
Fit and installed mounting hardware on both the left and the right ram air ducts on the cylinders.
Marked where the valve cover bolts would be and were to cut the relief area around the bolt heads.
Installed the stainless steel tangs that were rivetted to the ducts, allowing the duct assemblies to be bolted in possition with upper valve cover bolts & washers... three tangs on each side. Rivets were backed with a steel washer to prevent the rivet from pulling through the fiberglass duct from vibrations.
Rivetted the forward angle piece onto the bottom of the front of the duct openings for attaching the hold-down springs to keep the front of the ducts secured and held down.
Drilled and clecoed the bolt-on tangs to secure the ram air ducts on the cylinders. Washer backed.
Front hold-down springs attached to keep the airflow from lifting the front of the ram air ducts.
