Brief Description:  Connecting Slaved Throttle Quadrant Cable

When installing the slave cable between the main and slave throttles, it somehow developed damaged teflon liner about one third of the way into the cable housing. The solid wire cable would not insert past the blockage from either end. There seemed to be about an inch of blockage in the cable.

I had no choice but cut the blockage out. I then fabricated a solid aluminum splice from 1/2" x 1/2" bar stock. I cut it to the length to receive 3/8" steel sring bacle liner from each end, and drilled and tapped it to use two M3 setscrews to secure the cables togeter at the splice.

I'll be ordering replacement cable for later installation, but for now, I wanted to continue with the installation of the slave cable to set the operation of the slave throttle to the main throttle.
