Brief Description: Fire Sleeving The Firewall-Forward Fuel Lines
I decided to try the "ClampTite" wire hose clamp tool for making very light and very tight hose clamps. I find it to be everything all the videos on the company website and various YouTube channels say it is.
The tool is very easy to work with, but the thicker the wire, the slower the process if you are trying to keep the wraps lined up, evenly distributed, and looking good.
My first use was securing the ends of the fire sleeve I placed over the fuel lines on the firewall-forward side. The short line pictured runs from the firewall fuel inlet to the input to the gascolator. The longer tube runs from the gascolator output up to the AeroInjector input.
I am very happy with the sleeving and the wire hose clamps hold.
