Brief Description:  Pulled, Adjusted And Remounted Engine.

Pulled engine. Removed spacer washers from lower two mounts. Pre-inserted lower-left bolt and washer with rubber shock/cushion mount to be in place as engine is re-mounted.

Remounted engine with all four bolts and tightened bolts down.

Checked level of top of engine relative to level of the floor of the forward fuselage. Propeller thrust line (top of engine flat) and forward fuselage bottom within 0.05” of parallel.

Checked height of the propeller centerline from an extended line from the bottom of the forward fuselage. Center of propeller hub measured 17 ½” above the forward fuselage bottom’s extended line.

Measured linear distance from prop hub face to lower forward corner of forward fuselage. This distance appears to be ½” short. I measure 40.5315” vs the specified 40.8125”. I’ll have to discuss this with Kerry at Sonex Tech Support. 40 17/32 vs 10 13/16 is a difference of approximately 0.28” short of the spec.

Checked prop thrust line for left/right deviation from fuselage centerline axis. Engine appears to be centered left/right to the fuselage centerline axis.
