Brief Description: Checking Rubber Engine Mounts And Bolts
Test fitting the AeroConversion rubber engine mounts for the Jabiru 3300 Gen 4. Used mild dishsoap and water solution to lubricate the mounts before trying to slide them on the motor mount shafts.
Installed all hardware and tightened bolts to have a few threads protruding from the nuts to check bolt length selection. Bolts appear to be proper length, with AN4-50 bolts in the top two shafts, and AN4-51 bolts in the lower two mounting shafts. The longer bolt are in the bottom to compensate for the expected use of the Jabiru space washer on the bottom to achieve proper engine thrust line adjustment.
AeroConversion rubber shock mounts for the Jabiru 3300 installed with all bolta and hardware.
