Brief Description:  Mounting Nose Trim Springs

Opened up the hole for the elevator pushrod to pass throuugh, as it was a circle that was cut in the part slightly off-center. I originally had to mount the elevator pushrod on the opposite side of the idler mechanism so it would not rub on the side of the circular opening. I converted the circle to an oval, giving more room, and allowing the elevator pushrod to be moved to the proper side of the idler. this straightened the pushrod slightly, improving the alignment as it passed through the other support holes in the tailcone.

Layed out the cut files for the trim system spring clip that mounts on the elevator pushrod with the two hose clamps.

Cut and bent the spring clip per the plans.

Mounted both trim springs per the instructions, but could not get the springs to adjust to the point of operating the full range of motion for the contro stick trim per the specifications.

Had to mount the elevator pushrod trim spring on the upper side of the pushrod, because if it was on the underneath, the spring interferred with stick travel when the spring was trapped between the elevator pushrod and the flap control tube directly underneath the pushrod.
