Brief Description:  Balancing The Ailerons Continued

Had to add weight to the lead counterbalance weight to balance the ailerons.

Instead of adding layers of washers to the weight bolts, I decided to use 16 gauge steel plate and match it to the outside profile of the counter balance arm plates.

Added one weight plate to each outer side of the arms, then changed the two end-most bolts from AN3-14A to AN3-15A.

These weight plates allowed minimal increase in width of the counter balance arm, and no increase in height.beyond arm's original profile.

When hung and levelled, aileron trailing edges match up within approximately 1/16" the full length of the trainling edges.

Both ailerons are balanced to approximately 1/8" above level for the bottom side surface.
