Brief Description: Cutting Aileron Skins And Lead Weights
Layed out cut lines on stock aileron skin material to make SNB-W04-01R/L aileron skins.
Tried to cut the lead weight on a bandsaw, but could not keep a decent cut. Ended up cutting the rectangular lead weight into two perfect triangular halves on the chop saw.
Finished laying out cut lines on the stock aileron skins.
Made first pass cuts approximately 1/4" from the lines. finishing the cuts by making a couple more cuts getting closer to the lines each time. Left just enough on the lines to allow final trimming/edge dressing with the angle grinder using a scotchbrite disc.
Both aileron skins and page SNB-W04 completed.
