Plans do not specify any specific position to mount the left and right dual throttle quadrants at. I contacted Kerry at Sonex to inquire about where to mount the throttles to ensure minimum problems when installing the ABS sidepanel components. He referred my questions to Chris Nash in Production,
Chris emailed back indicating the factory prototype B-Model has the throttles mounted 8.25" from the top of the spar tunnel to the bottom of the throttle base. The throttles mount on the aft vertical angle coming up from the tunnel box, and the throttle base mounts to the forward side of the vertical angle.
Given this position info, both left and right throttles were mounted.
Left throttle base clamped into position.
Left throttle base positioned to be used as a guide for mounting hole positioning.
Left throttle bolted into final position and control lever assembled.
