Started by setting pin on left leg fairing. Located the holes in the wheel fairing mounting plate at the bottom, and the bottom fuselage skin at the top.
I drilled the right side holes symetrically to the left, then noticed the top end fairing locations were not even... one was further forward than the other. I then adjusted both side's fore and aft positions, and realized a second hole will need drilled in the bottom fuselage skin for each side to hold them in the adjusted and symetrical positions.

Maintained the same clearance from the tire for the hinge pin as the brake fitting.
The hinge pin needs a positive insertion stop (a bend) to prevent walking into the tire.
