Kerry at Sonex Tech Support verified countersinkingonly for flush rivets and bolts was the new approved method of flush mounting rivets and bolts inside the spar tunnel. This is the current production method, even though the plans indicate to dimple.
Worked on mounting SNB-L04-02R right main landing gear weldment. All bolt and rivet holes drilled. All countersinking completed where required (bolts going through the spar tunnel). All rivets up-drilled. All deburring completed. Brakcet was mounted with all bolts, and cleacoed at rivet holes, ready for final riveting once more CCP-46 rivets are received.
