Brief Description: Completed Tail Cone Fairing And Angle Installation
Fabricated and installed the left side SNB-T01-05L fairing panel.
Cut, made and mounted the SNB-T01-06 angles. Squared off the ends on the fairing panels so they would fit squarely to the angle pieces, and close the openings between the two pieces.
Replaced the two partial hinge pins in the rudder with one 40 1/2" hinge pin, then drilled and codder pinned the rudder hinge at each end per plans.
Installed the elevator codder pins (4) in left and right side hinges.
Installed codder pins in the two castle nuts installed on the rudder cable connections to the rudder horn.
Both tail cone fairings installed with sufficient curvature.
Installing the SNB-T01-06 angle on the left side.
Finished tail cone fairing and angle insatallation.
