In order to cut the SNB-T01-05L/R tailcone fairing plates on the CNC from the 0.025" 6061 T6 aluminum sheet stock, the 1:1 actual size pattern in the plans had to be traced into a graphics program, then vectorized in the CAD/CAM for the CNC. This particular pattern is larger than a single 8.5" x 14" paper for the scanner bed, so it had to be hand traced onto two papers, then scanned into two files, then merged in proper alignment. Once the manual paper trace was input into CorelDraw, the image was manually computer traced for a vector outline.
