Brief Description: Rudder Installation And Fitting.
Positioned and pilot drilled lower rudder hinge to airframe. Up-drilled to final size and copper clecoed.
Dissassembled and deburred. Reassembled with copper clecos. Ready for final rivetting of lower rudder hinge to airframe.
Fit rudder for left and right deflection stops. Ground rudder horn to contact left and right rudder stop plates squarely for full stop at 25 degrees of deflection to both left and right sides.
Pilot drilled and clecoed lower rudder hinge into place.
Complete tail assembly bolted in position.
Fitting rudder for flat elevator horn contact against the rudder stop plates at 25 degrees deflection.
