Horizontal stabilizer skin trimming continued until proper fit was reached.
No mounting holes drilled yet as elevator up deflection is still slightly short of 25 degrees as specified in plans. Will continue tomorrow trying to identify the problem with getting full deflection when all other specs are good.
Total horizontal stabilizer skin trimmed from each side to allow proper fit and clearance against turtle deck was ~0.99".
Achieved specified 3 1/4" gap at HS main spar in back. Closed gap at turtle deck to HS forward spar.
Approximately 1.0 mm gap between HS left side lower skin and side of fuselage at proper position.
Approximately 1.0 mm gap between HS right side lower skin and side of fuselage at proper position.
