Brief Description: T13: Rudder Skin & Hinge - Complete
T13: Completed rudder hinge fabrication.
There seems to be a lot of piano hinge used throughout the build, so I plan to use the CNC Router to make a step-jig to drill piano hinge on the drill press vs doing the layout, punching and drilling by hand. Provided the majority of piano hinge is fabricated with the same hole pattern and spacing, this should save far more time in prepping future piano hinge than it takes to produce the jig.
Cleaned up and deburred the edges of the rudder sking fabrication cuts.
Rudder sking and hinge fabrication complete. Plans page T13 completed.
